become a fan National Mall and Memorial Parks Bike Tours
These tours are led by National Park Service rangers and begin at
2:30 P.M. on the third Sunday of each month. The rides start at
the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Plaza (at the base of the memorial
steps) and last approximately two hours. Trips for Kids leaves from
Gravelly Point in Virginia at 2:00 to get in some extra miles of riding
before and after the official tour. Tours are geared for children
up to age 12. Trailers and Trail-a- bikes are welcome. Note that
this is a Family Tour. At least one parent/adult MUST be along with
their child/children. All participants MUST have their own bike and
helmet.

TFK Metro DC is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that helps
disadvantaged youth in the Metropolitan DC area. We provide important life
lessons through fun and educational mountain bike excursions into Virginia,
Maryland, and DC parks and nature areas.
Kids leave from their adventure with a sense of accomplishment, a
fond memory and new knowledge about themselves and their world.
